According to the new policy, it will greatly simplify the procedures for citizens of the above-mentioned countries visit China and promote bilateral personnel exchanges. This expansion of visa-free access is the latest measure taken by China to continuously optimize its entry and exit policies and promote high-level opening to the outside world. China has implemented visa-free or visa-on-arrival policies for many countries, including over 40 countries such as the ten ASEAN countries, France, and Germany. The inclusion of major oil-producing countries in the Middle East on the visa-free list this time reflects the deepening of relations between China and the Middle East region.
As China’s pace of opening to the outside world continues to accelerate, it is expected that more countries will be included in the scope of visa-free or simplified visa policies in the future. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that it will continuously assess the effectiveness of the visa policy and adjust and optimize it in a timely manner in accordance with the needs of the international situation and the development of bilateral relations. |
